Drift Era Origin 001
The car came first.
Created by Karel more than fifteen years ago, this one-of-one imaginary Evo existed without a driver, a story or a world of its own.
Then Mitsuki arrived.
Drift Era became their world.
An original JDM universe of one-off machines, cinematic stories and digital artwork.
The Origin Story 001
Before the world,
there was the car.
More than fifteen years ago, Karel created a one-of-one imaginary Evo: low, uncompromising and unlike anything that existed on the road.
The artwork endured long after the original project ended. It had a design and an identity—but no driver, no story and nowhere to go.

Meet Mitsuki Character 001
The car existed
before she did.
But it was waiting for a driver.
Mitsuki is Drift Era’s fictional narrator: a Tokyo automotive photographer with an eye for the details that make a machine matter.
Calm, curious and quietly sharp, she guides us through workshops, night roads and one-off builds. The Evo becomes her car, but never her creation. Its history remains Karel’s; its next chapter belongs to her.
